November 22, 2007   CARNIVAL IND'L: Turns Around w/ TWD23MM Income for 9-Month Pd. Carnival Industrial Corporation reported a net income of  TWD23.3 million for the nine months ended Sept. 30, 2007, a  turnaround from the TWD48.1-million net loss recorded for the  nine months ended Sept. 30, 2006. The company reported net sales of TWD885.2 million, which  translated to an operating loss of TWD142.8 million for the  period in review, a 23.0% improvement against the  TWD185.4-million operating loss recorded a year earlier. The company reported a net non-operating gain of  TWD176.5 million for the period in review.
