April 22, 2008   BRASKEM CAYMAN: Will Hold Final Shareholders Meeting on April 29 Braskem Cayman Limited will hold its final shareholders' meeting  on April 29, 2008, at 10:00 a.m. at Avenida das Nacoes Unidas,  4.777, Sao Paulo – SP, Brazil. These matters will be taken up during the meeting:    1) accounting of the liquidation process showing how the       winding up has been conducted; and    2) authorizing the liquidator to retain the records       of the company for a period of three years from       the dissolution of the company, after which they       may be destroyed. Braskem Cayman's shareholders agreed on March 25, 2008, to place  the company into voluntary liquidation under The Companies Law  (2004 Revision) of the Cayman Islands.
